System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.

This error can occur (very rarely) and it is generally seen when a lot of management packs are imported in quick succession. It can cause the console to fail to open which makes it difficult to then remove any management packs and some people have had to reinstall Operations Manager to get a working system.

Alternatively, as long as you have documented which Management Packs you have installed, you can use powershell to remove the management packs:

$mp = get-managementpack |

where-object {$_.Name -eq ‘XXXXXXXX’}

uninstall-managementpack -managementpack $mp
