Service Monitor Template – Memory monitoring bug

It has been noted on the OpsMgr technet forums that there is a bug in the service monitor authoring template. When you try and set a memory threshold of greater than 100 MB, it changes it back to 100. You can export the MP, make the relevant xml changes and reimport but the UI still doesn’t seem to like values great than 100.

Justin Incarnato has posted a workaround on the technet forums:
“When you get the alert (for example if you set a process notepad.exe and you set the max 100mb limit). Set an override on the monitor with a new value in bytes from the existing 100000000 (100mb) to 350000000 (350mb) to the appropriate group for example and you should be good.”
